Bumping for July. Saturday was Blessed Kateri -- last year to call her "Blessed"!
Today is Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Tomorrow begins the St. Anne Novena. July 25 is St. James the Great, and July 26 is Joachim and Anne.
July is one of my favorite months for saints!

Last chance to celebrate in July! Happy feast of St. Ignatius Loyola. Just bumping this to add a fun tidbit dh's aunt shared with us today, and that is that nachos are named for a man "Ignacio" who first served them in 1943. So while not traditional by any means, nachos would be a fun treat to have while remembering their namesake's namesake

I love that little tidbit - there was a Catholic Cuisine post a few years back that shares it as well.
St. Ignacio's Nachos
And another idea for St. Ignatius feast is the French pasty, Jesuite, shaped like the triangular hat of the Jesuits.
