I am just mentioning that next Tuesday I will be starting a weekly posting for the whole of this year, called "Tuesdays with Saint Anne" over at my StarryMantle in order to spread greater devotion to this wonderful mother's saint. Because I'm 15 hours ahead and I will be posting on my Tuesdays, the new posting should always be there on your Tuesday.
Now I've sorted out how to label, I will have the archives of Tuesdays with Saint Anne down the sidebar as well.
Why Tuesdays? Because it is her day, in the way it is also St Anthony's day or Saturdays are Our Lady's days..and my first posting will be on why Tuesdays are hers.

This sounds great! I would love to increase devotion to St. Anne. Not only is she my name saint, but in our schoolroom my usual seat faces a print of "St. Anne Teaching the Virgin".

Thank you, Anne. Saint Anne has always been a good friend of mine..........and helped me to finally have a baby.......who I promised to name after her. My own Anne-with-an-E will love this!

St. Anne happens to be my mother's saint, my saint, and two of my dds' saint. We love St. Anne. :)
Do you have the link where you ordered the statue of Mary with St. Anne? I'd love to order one.

Cay, unfortunately it was a one off on ebay, this particular statue was once obviously well loved by someone over your way as it is very old. But it is worth keeping an eye on ebay for a nice little one as I have been doing this for a little while, on and off, there is always new pieces being added to ebay all the time.
