It's First Holy Communion time of year, again! 
If your child (or other child you know) is making their First Holy Communion this spring......if you want to post their name, the date and maybe the state you live in (if you feel comfortable doing that).....in this thread, and we'll pray for your child! We did this in 2008 and 2007 and the fruits have been tremendous! Please join us!
Our god-daughter, Emily will be making her First Communion on June 14, in Washington.
Blessed Imelda, you showed us by the miracle of your First Communion how much Jesus loves us, and your short life was an example of how we should love Him. Look down on these children from heaven and pray that they will love Christ as joyfully as you! Amen.

Our daughter Madeline will be making her First Holy Communion on June 14 in Ohio.
Also, our niece Jaclyne will be making her First Holy Communion on May 10 in Ohio.

Thank you so much! Our son, Matthew, will receive FHC this coming Sat., April 18th in Illinois. This is the day before Divine Mercy Sunday. (I have a devotion to devotion to Divine Mercy so I find this awesome).

Our 9 yo nephew, Kain, will be receiving his first communion on Saturday evening, April 18. Our first "boy communion", we are very excited around here. When he first came to live with us we were in such a frenzy to get him baptised before he was taken away from us. He had never even been introduced to God in any way, never even celebrated Christmas or anything, so we were starting from scratch! 2 1/2 years later  he is receiving his first communion! Praise God!

My Son, Diego in NM will be receiving on May 3! He's my first child to receive, so we are especially excited!
A great and dear friend of mine went and printed out all of the pages from these links, so Diego has really been enjoying reading all of the stuff and talking about it with me. We'll pray for all of the First Communicants too! I liked someone's idea of marking all of the children on a map. Maybe we'll try that this year!

My Regina on May 2 in Michigan.
Funny, I was just prepping her for her interview with Father and realized she doesn't know the Lord's Prayer in English, only in Latin.
While I'm sure that would be impressive, I would think he'll want her to know it in English as well!

My eldest, Olivia, is receiving on 10 May in London (UK!).
As I was an adult convert, it's all very new for me, too!
Oh, and we've realised that Olivia only knows the Creed in Latin, not English, too!
All these exclamation marks! Can you tell I'm excited?

My sweet Hannah Katherine will be receiving FHC on Mother's Day, May 10th. Thank you for the prayers! She is so excited! My mother-in-law is coming for the big day, and Hannah said, "Oh, I'm so glad she is going to be here. I won't be as nervous!"
Do you all do FHC parties after? If so, what is your plan?
