I hope I'm not out of line linking to my own blog posts but....
I have a few crafts for the Baptism of our Lord on my Blog:
Jesus Baptism ~ John the Baptist ~ Seashell Ornament
and
John the Baptist ~ Jesus Baptism ~ Seashell Wreath
I also would like to share my Pro-life Rosary Activity for January (Jan. 22)
Sorry, if this not okay to do...and just delete it if it's not okay.

It's totally fine. That's exactly what we are looking for, Jennifer. Your blog has great ideas so thanks for sharing them, and it's good to connect you to your work - I had seen (and pinned) the ornament craft already on Pinterest.
I did edit the post to include the name of our crafts so that it's easier to see exactly what it's linked to

Thank you Mary...I'm still learning the ropes around here...I don't get on as often as I would like!
Thanks for fixing my link names.
Oh and watch those *old* Pinerest pins that link to my crafts...Most of them won't work anymore. I moved my blog about a month ago, so the addresses on pinerest are now wrong.
But I'm very glad you liked it!!

Saw this today from Vatican Information News Service. I didn't know about this connection with farmers and animals with St. Anthony Abbot.
Quote:
FEAST OF ST. ANTHONY ABBOT IN THE VATICAN
VATICAN CITY, 13 JAN 2012 (VIS) - Tuesday 17 January is the Feast of St. Anthony Abbot, patron of livestock farmers and protector of animals. As in other years, the Italian Association of Livestock Farmers (AIA) will hold its traditional exhibition of farm animals in front of St. Peter's Square. Mass for the farmers and their families will be celebrated in the Vatican Basilica at 11 a.m., followed by a procession of horses in Via della Conciliazione. Finally, Cardinal Angelo Comastri, archpriest of the papal basilica of St. Peter's in the Vatican, vicar general of His Holiness for Vatican City and president of the Fabric of St. Peter's, will impart a blessing upon those present. It is expected that, as in previous years, many Roman citizens will come with their pets to attend the event. |
