Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It appears that she has this back up again, and there's a few things that are quite good--and free!

Removed the link.

Yes! That's why I ran out to Walmart late this afternoon. I had to get a heavy duty color cartridge for all the printing I'll be doing!

Thanks! I wonder why they are suddenly free again. I love her pink reading cards. I have just printed them out- the pictures are so great. But I am not laminating them yet- just going to use as is. I am finding that my ds has so little interest in the cards I print and laminate... maybe he's just not a three part card kind of guy? Maybe he will like these pictures better than drawings I have tried on other pink cards. These have actual photos... very interesting to look at.

Just me being a bit picky, because these are free and everything, but there are some random capitalizations in the reading cards that I found distracting and a spelling error on the skeleton cards (vertebra is missing the first r--easily fixed with a sticker before laminating, though!).

Not too sure about the labeling of "foot bones" and "knee cap" compared to the more technical terms used on the other cards.

FWIW, there are a lot of out-of-focus photos in the pink card series...made me feel like I was having an eye test and not doing too well...

I didn't get it! Does this site come back up or would someone mind sharing it with me?

That's odd. It was up earlier and I grabbed a bunch of stuff. Now it is gone again.

I am very sorry to read this- and embarrassed for us. Her free printables have been so very helpful to me.

Wow! I'm sorry for starting this up in the first place. I surely didn't mean to cause any trouble to her. I thought they were wonderful printables, and I especially liked the leaf shapes--exactly what I had been looking for.

Sarah, if you are reading over here, please accept my apology for any trouble I might have unknowingly caused. We are grateful for the work you have had on your site.

Perhaps it would have been best if I hadn't offered my thoughts, as they weren't intended to hurt anyone's feelings. Sarah, if you're reading this and were hurt by my comments, then I'm really sorry. Twenty years as an editor is a hard habit to break (but a poor excuse nevertheless).

I just read Sarah's post to us and have sent her a private e-mail to apologize. Ladies, I'm sorry if you feel painted by the brush meant for me alone.

Apparently, the wisdom I'd always hoped to possess by now is still on hold pending me learning to just shut up.

Sincerely,

Tracy

Do you really think she was referring to us? I had gone to her blog earlier and left her a very complimentary comment, but now I see that comments are no longer allowed?
I hate it when stuff like this happens.

If you go under "Educational Materials" on her site, you'll see this:

BIG NOTICE FOR THE "WONDERFUL" LADIES ON THE "4 REAL FORUMS": Your forums are readable by the general public even if they are not members (were you aware of this?) Your comments about my materials are duly noted but it is exactly this kind of thing that made me take down the materials in the first place. Could you not have had the courtesy and emailed me if I have made a spelling error on one of the cards?? Clearly I didn't notice it and would obviously be pleased to know about it, but, no - you just winge about it with your friends. Secondly, I am aware that some of the photos in the reading cards are not quite perfect - I even point out that fact as they are pics I took myself and I'm not a professional photographer.
You are all clearly perfectionists and my humble attempts at Montessori materials are obviously SO not good enough for you so here is a suggestion:
BOG OFF AND MAKE YOUR OWN!!
********************

FURTHER TO THE ABOVE - after careful consideration:

I HAVE removed the materials, but only temporarily while I try to find a secure way of making access to them more selective. It makes me very sad to do this due to just a handful of spiteful, ungrateful people but I have my own VERY personal reasons why I just CANNOT deal with this sort of thing and why it hurts me so very much.

I will sort something out because I'm aware that there are many, many genuine decent people about who would miss out on my materials - just bear with me while I do it. Thanks :)

Now I've never made a comment about Sarah's materials before, so I know I had nothing to do with her removing her materials the first time, but I'm quite sure that this is directed at me.

Again, my apologies to all of you. I did ask Sarah to please not extend her anger at me toward the rest of you because your comments were all so kind and pleasant.

Wow, I had no idea this was about us either. Thank you Tracy for trying to remedy the situation, hopefully she will forgive us, she is so generous with her materials.

Blessings!

I have written to Sarah to apologize on behalf of the entire forum.I was really sorry to read this. The truth is there are a lot of Wonderful Women here and this doesn't exclude the women involved with this unfortunate situation. I know you meant no harm, Tracy. It's hard to remember sometimes when we are in our own homes at our own computers that this is a public forum and that we are being read by lots of people in lots of places. Reputations can be altered by what is read here. It's a good practice to try to contact the person privately if it's something that could be so easily remedied. And it's also a good idea, when we are reviewing materials for each other on the boards, to remember that our conversations aren't private. We need to bear in mind that people are protective of their hard work and will take our passing criticism very much to heart. I think we all feel badly about what happened. I know I will be more cautious the next time someone asks my opinion
