Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just saw that Steve Ray's "Footprints of God" series is going to start airing on EWTN in September. The first 3 episodes will be from the St. Paul video and start Sept. 1 - Mondays at 2:30 PM and Friday at 10:30 PM (ET).

Thanks to MaryM and Susan Marie who began a brainstorming thread at Rabbit trails, I jumped in and offered a suggestion. But, my suggestion fits better here. I’m very excited about an idea which taps into the year of St. Paul and helps to prepare the children for Mass on Sunday.

I hope by giving the children a one-word-concept before Sunday Mass keyed to St. Paul’s letter, it will help them to behave well, understand the reading and pray better at Mass.

I truly pray that this bears fruit with my family. I posted our first week
Joy with St. Paul at my blog. If I have the grace to continue, I'll post to my label, The Year of St. Paul

I just saw at Patron Saints INdex that Feb 16th commemorates the shipwreck of St. Paul.

I've never noticed (or perhaps seen) this before.

Stef just posted this link for an Interactive "In the Footsteps of St. Paul" Game in another thread - thought I would link it here as well to keep all the St. Paul ideas and resources together for easy searching.

Also, I thought I had linked to a craft we did earlier this year and I posted on my blog, but I'm not finding it so will link here - Year of St. Paul - Logo Craft

So, as the Year of St. Paul comes to a close it would be great to hear how you celebrated and commemorated this year in your home? Do you have any plans to finish out the year with a "bang"?
