Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My MIL helps to run a mom-to-mom group at our parish, and they are getting ready to revamp the program. She asked me if I knew of a Catholic version of the program, so of course I thought I'd come here, lol.

In case no one knows what mom-to-mom is, basically it's a Titus 2 mentoring program. Here's a link I found this morning: Mom to Mom

Thanks!

I've never heard of mom-to-mom specifically. Is it along the lines of Elizabeth Ministry?

It's more like MOPS I think, but it's for all moms, not just moms of preschoolers. Basically (and I do not attend these meetings, as they only provide childcare for babies and toddlers right now), but from what I understand, there are several tables and each table has about 6 moms and a Titus 2 mom. There are talks, and they have sharing time, that sort of thing. They follow the curriculum set up by Mom to Mom Ministries, but were hoping to find something more Catholic.

What about Women for Faith & Family? I don't have any personal experience with it, but it is a Catholic women's group.

This looks promising! I'll pass it on to MIL, thanks!
