Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know where I can get these? I've been reading about right brained children and it turns out I have 2. They both complain about black type face. It seems to them any other color is easier to read. I remember seeing these somewhere and now I'd like to try them.

Hi Jen,
I used these with some of my students when I was a school teacher. I can't be of much help because the school supplied them but I do know we called them "acetate sheets" which might help you in locating some. I have to add that I'm not real sure if they helped much, but it motivated the kids to read! The left brained kids all liked them too, but I will say that after a while the left brained kids quit using them and the right brained kids kept on, so maybe they helped more than I think.

Becky,
At least now I know what I'm looking for!

Jen

Is this what you mean? I have them for Ryan. It looks like a ruler with the middle cut out and a piece of clear colored acetate inserted. It helps him focus on chunks of words rather than being distracted by the whole page.

Thanks Deborah!

Exactly what I needed, and more! This board is an awesome resource.
The colored notebook paper will keep them organized by subject, the colored tape is cool too. I originally just wanted the framed viewers, but now I have a choice of all kinds of good stuff!

Jen
