Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi - I have an eight year old who is learning to read but very slowly. I just discovered that she can read better upside down than right-side up. I was told by someone that this is dyslexia. So, has anyone else experienced this? Is it dyslexia or perhaps something else or a mix of something else? Also, resources?? We don't have a ton of money to throw around so I would really appreciate some economical ideas/avenues to start with I don't mind spending money when I realize I am on the right track if you know what I mean. I am totally willing to do research so books or internet sites would be VERY appreciated. THANKS!!

Hmm, not sure what that would be as I never asked my dyslexic to read upside down. However, you may find some help with the articles at Dianne Crafts

That is NOT dyslexia. I would research vision therapy and contact your school district for evaluation.

Aagot - thanks for the link!

Mrs. B - I actually went to a vision therapy talk so I know who to get in contact with. Thanks for helping me narrow it down!
