Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is there a unit study program out there anywhere.. something like Prairie Primer???

I've seen Lissa's little tidbits on her website, but need more, more, more!

Suggestions? Or should this be the beginning of a great things here?

I've already wislisted 3 children picture books The Story of Scotland and St. Andrew and Saints of Scotland

I've also ordered Kidnapped by Stevenson. I already have most of the poetry books recommended on Lissa's site.

Anyone else have contributions or suggestions?

I don't know of a unit study, but here are some old 4Real Threads to get you started...

Scotland

Mostly about Ireland, but has a little info about Scottish music

William Wallace

Also inspired by Melissa's books...

There is a lady that wrote her own Martha Curriclum. Here name is Becca. I bought it last year. It has questions for each chapter, then she put together tons of information. also there is a lot of information on a little house in the prairie message board. Let me get the link and i'll post it.
