Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Have any of you used Dynaread's dyslexia remediation program with any success? I learned about Dynaread from HSLDA and am thinking about possibly using their program with one of my sons.

We have 2 dyslexic children and I finally knew that after the middle of 3rd grade, my daughter was not going to read without some intervention. She couldn't sound out C..A...T.
We hired a tutor who did the Barton Method. This person was not certified and charged $10 for 1/2 hour. However, the program itself is so good and is completely scripted. It really made all the difference in the world. Now this daughter can read very easy books. But better yet, she can sound words out. This has been a sore spot with her older sister who is also dyslexic, but not to the extent of her younger sister. However, the 3rd grade can sound words out
much better than her older sister, so I am trying to go through the 4/5th books, but it is MUCH easier to start earlier (3-4th grade) than in 7th grade and try to patch huge holes.
Blessings,
Stephanie
