Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just found this organization. It may already be posted, but I couldn't find it in a search. If your child is in need of audio books for their curriculum because of a print disability they can download books for free. The disability does have to be certified. I have not gotten the certification yet,but a friend told me that all of the MODG books that she needs are there. You are able to download up to 3 books from a short list while you wait for your certification. If your child has already been diagnosed with dyslexia then someone just needs to sign the form letter that can be printed from the website if you are interested. It includes textbooks as well.

The website is http://www.rfbd.org/

My ds just qualified for this service but I haven't yet decided how we want to access the books. One of the texts I want (Apologia Astronomy) is only available on a really expensive device they sell in order to listen to it (no download). Still figuring out how to best make use of the service!

Thank you for this resource!

My daughter has been diagnosed with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia that has gotten worse in 6 months, and I am just paralyzed with fear about what I will need to do in the future.

This is a start. She currently has no lateral vision fields bilaterally. I am just taking one day at a time.
