In this post on my blog, Cause of Our Joy I explain the concept of a book I'm writing with Monica Rafie of Be Not Afraid , the ministry refered to in my piece "A Special Mother is Born" in "Faith and Family" magazine this month. We are collecting stories of Catholic moms of special needs children whose faith has helped them cope with the difficulties of giving birth to and raising their exceptional children.I have heard many inspirational stories here, and would like to encourage you to share your pro-life witness.

We hope to inspire mothers in the same situation to look upon these children as what they are: opportunities from God to live out our faith in courageous ways. If you are interested, please send me an email,private message, or leave a comment on my blog post.
