Well things did not go well at all! Seamus is schrduled for an EEG, MRI, and battery of blood work. The Neurologist believes he is having seizures, and possible signs of autism. I am not doing well at all, I had to take a sedative earlier today, I "lost" it at the office, and quite frankly I cannot take it if turns out to be a tumor!
Now I need to say none of the Drs have said this, they are all acting aggresively because of my fears, so most of this panic is not neccesarily called for. I cannot honestly say this is reality based, so I ask for prayers for me as well.

I am feeling better tonight, my dh is very level headed, he is grounding me, and I spoke with a priest for about an hour, who encouraged me to tkae it 1 hour at a time. It helps to know that all of the possible ideas of diagnoses were not life threatening, i just feel raw and jump to that as being the outcome. Dh keeps telling me this about every half hour, and I literally only last about that long before I start freaking out again! Life is fragile, and I know it, but I also know that we cannot live in that fragility! So I am forcing myself to keep planning our St Joseph and St Pat's day parties, and building our alter  After all I plan to particiapte in in Jenn's Loveliness fair, just to prove I can

You are okay, dear friend.....I think any of us with kiddos with special needs, or just having kids that go through testing, sitting in "specialists" waiting rooms and exam rooms, hearing things like autism, MRI's, seizures.... we know this anxiety you are talking about....it is awful....
We are all praying, Molly. You are a hero to keep up your planning!!

Praying for all of you Molly. I have been through this with my oldest who turned 20 yesterday. When my oldest was three (she turned 20 yesterday!), we were told she was having seizures and was autistic. Long story short, the diagnosis was wrong and very exaggerated. I found great comfort knowing that God had a plan for Catie's life and whatever it was, I would embrace it and help her live that life. Try to imagine God holding your hand and walking every step of this with you.
