Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm intrigued by the idea that we can enjoy all sorts of handcrafted items that aren't marketed in conventional stores. Would you like to share some of your favorite etsy shops with us?

I recently bought a high quality Vera Bradley-type purse from http://www.etsy.com/shop/Teresaspurses.

Peace,
Nancy

These two are by Catholic ladies (friends of mine BTW)

These are intricately painted wooden dolls. I saw them in person today and her work is extraordinary!! ONe set is only about 2 or 3 inches high - I don't know how she gets such intricate work so small!

This lady designed this little fairy castle and it is so precious!! Knitted hats pretty cool, too!

I will plug my friend Heather's page
ReaDo

She is a Catholic homeschooling mom. She takes old books and makes them into trendy purses. They are neat. They aren't big enough for me for a day to day purse and I would love to have one if I ever went anywhere that would allow me to take a small purse

I really like Little Sapling Toys. I have gotten a couple of things from there and have a couple more coming. Nice quality work.

For all natural skin care products I like Joyful Girl. She will work with you to find the product you need. She will even make up something to fit your criteria or will send you a sample so you don't have to spend a lot to see if the product works for you.

I just got a big order for Christmas from St Luke's Brush. Great stuff! I have my eye on his Kitchen Madonna

Lastly I really like Bit of Whimsy Dolls. I have bought several patterns from her and they are easy to follow and so darn cute! I originally bought my stuff from her on Etsy, but it appears that perhaps she doesn't have her Etsy shop anymore or for some reason I couldn't find it.

Wow...look, they have EtsyKids. A group of crafters who make items for kids, cool!
