Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I love Etsy, I love the idea of Etsy! I don't have anything to sell there, but I love to shop and browse. However, I am overwhelmed with the multitude of shops.

I'm hoping other folks like it too and have some favorites to share.

My very fave is:

Studio Fuller
this is a friend of mine from high school, she use to doodle all the time in class and I thought she was so artsy, so not me! I have bought a half dozen of her prints, the kids love them in the school room!

I have searched on Etsy for clothes, toys etc. But the hits are so numerous! So I haven't ventured yet to purchasing anything other than from my friend's shop.

Kacky--I don't have time to link, but I love the adorable vintage aprons at the boojiboo. I have three of my own and have given them as gifts, and everyone who has received them loves them too.

Maria (from this board) has a wonderful shop with jewelry -- Singing Ladybug Shop

A local, homeschooling friend and her daughter have a shop where they sell hair bows & bow holders -- Little Rose Boutique

I have a coupon holder from this shop -- Austin Artisan

This shop makes cloth bags and created custom gift bags for my parent's anniversary party kid favors for me a couple years ago -- Quirky Bags

And this shop makes bags from recycled juice pouches - Juicy Bags Wallets for my boys is on my "to buy when $ allows" list :)

I love etsy :) I keep looking at all the stamped silver jewelry and trying to decide . . .

Thanks ladies. I love those aprons. I have never worn one ever, but I so need one. My kids would die laughing, but I think it could be worth having one just for that alone and those patterns are so cute!

Melanie I had fun looking at your links. The Juicy Bags crack me up. My dd's friend made a bag entirely of juice bags, she sewed them together, all the sides where the juice bags and the straps were duct tape. She entered it in the county fair under "Recycled Crafts". She won second. But I must say, I thought I would never see a "real" something like that...so funny! And cute too!

Waverly I'm in love with those dolls...I don't know how I held back from buying! I think saving and ordering several at once (would make a great Christmas gift!) is what I might do...still don't know if I can hold off.

Thanks!!!!!

Speaking of cute Catholic dolls, for Easter I ordered several beautiful wooden figures from Catholic Folk Toys (www.catholicfolktoys.com I think). My kids love them!! I think I will be ordering them each another one for Christmas. If you want a particular Saint but don't see it on her site, she will make a special order for you. She made me a St. Josephine Bakihta and a St. Martin de Porres.

I don't think she's on etsy but they're still great dolls!
