Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The kiddos are all asking for spaghetti, I'm not sure if it will be spaghetti with meaballs or Hillbilly Spaghetti Pie, we'll see how the day goes. I'll make some of Pioneer Woman's garlic bread, and a salad to go with.

I don't know - I made today's soup last night, so I suppose I could make yesterday's turkey meat loaf today!

I always love your creativity in the kitchen, Mary Chris. And Nancy, best laid plans...my meal plans rarely end up the way I wrote them.

Jambalaya is for dinner tonight, working in the leftover chicken, and adding sausage and ham. Salad and bread accompanying.

I have leftover Italian Beef and Lentil soup in the frig, but I don't want to eat it for dinner two days in a row.

I need to cook thawed pound of ground beef. Any ideas? No cheese...

I want to make Pork Lo Mein, but haven't found a recipe yet that gets reviews that says it tastes like the take out stuff my daughter wants. Does anyone have a good recipe? If not it will be pork fried rice.

Patty -- I'm not useful when it comes to ground beef. Hamburgers, spaghetti, tacos, ground beef soup/stew, Sloppy Joes, and chili are the ones I do without cheese.

We're having crustless spinach quiche w/ onions and peppers, blueberry coffee cake, and sliced strawberries. Breakfast for dinner.

Shepherd's pie from my Not Just Beans cookbook. Pretty good but very tomato-y. It couldn't get any simpler though! Everyone ate!

I wound up making spaghetti and turkey meat balls (thanks, MC, for the idea) and I have enough leftover spaghetti for tetrazzini tomorrow. The kids will be overjoyed. (I am, too - no thinking about what to serve!)
