Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Mine is the one that I buy at the deli counter. Sorry Sarah!

My potato salad recipe is similar. I buy it at the deli counter, put it in my bowl, sprinkle paprika, and put three large green pepper slices on tap overlapping.

Coleslaw I just put in my bowl.

Sara,

I don't have precise measurements, but I can tell you what I put in mine.

Ingredients:
finely shredded white cabbage
finely shredded carrots (probably 2-3 per cabbage)

Sauce:
Mayonnaise
White vinegar (apple cider vinegar could work)
Granulated sugar
Horseradish
Celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste.

(Best approximations:
1/2 c mayo
2 T vinegar
1 t sugar
1 T horseradish
1-2 t celery seed

Mix these in a separate bowl and add a bit more of whatever you like as needed. I like horseradish, so I would probably add more...)

I hope this helps. I love cole slaw and this one is pretty good...I find the horseradish makes a real difference.

Peace.

I really utilize www.allrecipes.com
when I am looking for a particular recipe or ingredient that I need to use up and want recipe ideas.
I never make the same coleslaw recipe twice!
I like the vinegar kind, and also creamy.
I like chopped, and also shredded.
I also like a creamy coleslaw with lots of baby salad shrimp in it... mmmmm
