Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have a nice laminate floor that dh laid about three years ago. He tries not to be over-protective but there are many little scratch marks that he looks at and sighs over. I've taken the scratchy wheeled toys upstairs where we have carpets, but wonder what else I could do to make the floor look better?

Has anyone tried anything? I vacuum and occassionally mop with an almost dry cloth, but I was wondering about polish?

my dh put laminate wood flooring in our KITCHEN in our last home - so i put down lots of area rugs.

i think sand brought in from outside can be one of the worst enemies to laminate (and carpet, too, but it doesn't show as quickly) so we have a no-shoe policy in the house, unless they are specified "indoor shoes"!

i don't know if polish would help, but might be worth trying. good luck!
