I realize this is quite an old post I'm replying to, but I did a search on Schwarzbein and found this was the only one! I just finished reading The Schwarzbein Principle -The Program-Losing weight the healthy way and came here looking for anyone who'd tried it. Now, in looking at Amazon, I see there is a slightly newer edition with a slightly different title that I might try skimming too, to see if anything has changed. But a lot of it makes sense, especially after reading Real Food by Nina Planck. I've been trying to decrease processed foods and eat more of my protein from pastured animals (beef, eggs, chicken and raw milk) so this would fit well with that. However, in her Healing phase, which I definitely would qualify for, you need to go gluten-free for at least a month and I've never done that before. I can't imagine life without wheat! I've always eaten whole grains but I do like wheat! Anyway, just curious about any others who've tried this program.

I read this and blogged about it some time ago.

I used some of the ideas but I didn't need or want the whole thing.   I sort of believe "everything in moderation" though I find that too many carbs mess up my signals so a lot of times I have to detox from them and then start back up slowly.
