can you laminate a page and then cut it and still have the paper remain laminated?
just wondering
for instance, could i print a page of bead chain arrows and cut them out and would the laminate stay?

Yes, but you have to buy the laminating roll, I think when I bought mine it came with sticker paper, not laminating paper. I love my xyron!

Can I add my question?? How thick is the laminate....do the cards or whatever easily bend or is it pretty thick?

As far as thickness goes, as long as you use cardstock you should be fine. The cards can bend, but definitely durable. Also, when you first fill/refill your xyron I've learned to use a blank piece of cardstock the first 2 runs bcz sometimes there's a crease....these DON'T go to waste though, I give them to my DC and they use dry erase markers on them. HTH!

Yes, Katie. Use cardstock and you'll be ok.
I only had a problem with crinkles once...when I...um...rolled the xyron's handle backwards.  In any case, I always have some small holy cards in need of laminating, and if the roll appears to be questionable, or when I'm really close to the end of a roll and don't want to waste a teensy weensy bit, I just laminate holy cards!
I bought the xyron (with a coupon of course!!!) specifically because I could cut right up to the edge and still have the paper stay laminated. I have a heat laminator as well that doesn't laminate right up to the edge, but it is a much thicker, heavier laminate. I use it to laminate art prints for display because they are generally 8.5 x 11 and don't need trimming. They don't bend at all.
I much prefer the xyron - even with the less heavy duty laminate. No heat, ready whenever you need it, laminate as much or as little in a single stretch, laminates right to the edge. You'll love it!

Thanks mackfam....
I just got one (for my birthday from my mother).
I like it, though i just realized that i need the laminating cartridge (rather than the sticker one.)
I wish i had realised i could cut a full sheet of laminated stuff in the manner discussed above - because, thinking that wouldn't work, i just spent alot of time cutting number cards out...for now i think i'll just skip laminating them. it will be too fidgety to try to get all of them done now that they are cut.
