Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For all of you Latin-Centered Curriculum fans, Drew will be joining forces with Mr. Michael over at CLAA. Here's the announcement from the forum:

Drew Campbell, author of the Latin-Centered Curriculum, will be joining the CLAA to help develop and write the CLAA's higher courses (Dialectic, Rhetoric, Literature, etc..). Drew and I will be working together on the new Dialectic course being opened this summer and, God willing, he will be authoring the first of the CLAA's Literature courses in 2010.

To say that I am excited to work with Drew would be a terrible understatement. He brings a great deal of expertise on the classical curriculum and will radically impact the overall quality of the CLAA program in the future. Those of you who know him would agree that he is a uniquely intelligent and humble man who took an admirable risk in writing the LCC. In many ways, Drew cleared the field and prepared the soil into which the CLAA has been so easily planted and for that I am grateful. Many of the families in the CLAA would be quick to acknowledge Drew's influence in bringing them here. I have developed a deep respect for Drew over the past few months as we've corresponded and I'm confident that he will help bring the CLAA to a new level.

If you're not familiar with Drew Campbell, visit his Latin-Centered Curriculum website at: www.latincentered.com. If you're a Drew Campbell fan and are curious to know what he has to say about the CLAA read here: http://www.latincentered.com/node/399.

I just learned about this program.   This will be my first year homeschooling my oldest Kindergarten level.

I understand the petty school is due out in September.   Would this be where I should start with my dd?

Also, is the entire curriculum online, no books?

Thanks.

Oops-- please disregard. I just found another information thread about CLAA that addresses some of my questions.

Sorry about that!
