Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use this curriculum for religion? I see the Mother Angelica recommends it but I was wondering if anyone had any feedback for me.

Thanks!

I used the 1st grade one this past year for Leah. Along with the activity book. She loved it! It has beautiful paintings, vocabulary words and CCC questions incorporated into it. The activity book had coloring pages, word searches, fill in the blanks, etc.

I just bought the 2nd and 4th grade books at the PA homeschooling conference this past week.
I am going to use the Image of God series, 7th grade book for Matt next year, mainly because we had one here in the house. It also has nice art work and activities. Matt used the 6th grade Seton one this past year and liked it.

We have used Faith and Life on and off. I like it more than the other series I've seen. It seems not quite as "dumbed down" to me, and most of the illustrations in the books (w/ the exception of #2, I think) are works of fine art. With each painting, we look to see who the artist was and whether the original is housed in a museum we've been to (listed in back of book). Sometimes we look get more information from the internet. We don't use the workbooks, though I've heard from friends that they are good.
