Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last night, I was out at our country church to set up for a Knights of Columbus function. (A little history, the church is about a half hour from my house; it's in Middleburg VA and is the last church the Kennedys attended before he died). Three Arab men wandered into the sanctuary and asked for the pastor. My dh told them how to find the rectory and then they told him how sorry they were at the loss of the Holy Father. It turns out that they were from a Muslim temple close to my house and they were visiting every Catholic church within an hour's drive to offer condolences to the pastors. My pastor and I went a few rounds yesterday about the lack of **anything** he has shown since the pope died. I can only imagine what he said/thought/felt when these men paid their respects.

What a beautiful gesture on the part of those men. It speaks volumes about what kind of man Our Holy Father was. I am sure it made your pastor stop and think.

Wow, that's beautiful. God works in mysterious ways indeed.

What a touching story! I am in awe of the love and kindness these men are showing!
