Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just got my copy.    LOVE it!

I know that it isn't intended to be a "rowing" program, but I keep thinking about how I want to use it, and I keep finding myself gravitating to the rowing concept.

I've never used FIAR as its intended to be used. We usually read the story 3-4 days a week and I pick and choose activities...usually the simplest ones. I find if we only read the story about 3 times, then the child is more than willing to revisit it the next year. I love how practical Catholic Mosaic is, and that its keyed to crafty books I already own (Seton's Art 1 and the CHC A Year With God).

So anyway, I got to thinking that I would like to use this over several years. I'm thinking about rowing some of the books, and not covering every book this first year. That way it'll be easier on my pocketbook too.

I was just wondering if anyone else is thinking the same thing?

BTW, my *favorite* part of Catholic Mosaic is that there are clear suggestions for what kinds of Liturgical Notebook pages to do. I think even *I*--hopelessly challenged when it comes to notebooking--can make this happen. And maybe I'll be able to do more notebooking in the future after having this book hold my hand for a year! Yippeee!
