Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I need a pro-life craft for October for a group meeting.

I found this thread about tracing feet and hands for making angel bodies, which sounds lovely, but we just did a hand tracing craft last month.

Any ideas?

I went on a crazy hunt for pro life crafts last January and found very little online. However, check out this link:

Pro Life Printables and Activities for Kids

Here's a Free Printable Pro Life Game. Cute and educational!

Here's a Pro Life Lapbook you can make with kids.

Here's a Horton Hears a Who Craft (you know, a person's a person no matter how small).

And here are some free printable prayer cards to end abortion- these might be useful for a craft!

And I know you said you already did a handprint craft last month, but we did these pro life handprint crafts and enjoyed them so much!

Handprint Pro Life Craft

Hope this was fast enough to be helpful! I didn't notice this topic until today.

A few years ago we used the Horton Hears a Who pro-life theme to make a collage----You can see it here.

Thank you both! This gives me some good ideas to work with.
I also did an internet search with very dismal results. Now I have a few ideas in mind

Another idea would be to do a OLoGuadalupe craft. In the image she is pregnant - encinta in Spanish, meaning "with a ribbon around her waist" which is the sign of pregnancy in the old Spanish world. She is a very fitting symbol of thepro-life movement. We have some OLoG crafts in older threads. There are also some on the O Night Divine blog.

And how about making some kind of St. Gerard or OLoG prayer plaque, basket, board, etc. It could be something where the names of pregnant women you know could be added to remember to pray for them during the pregnancy - or spiritually adopted babies in danger of abortion.

Hope that helps!

I'm looking for a craft idea for this Wednesday. These are great. We're going to be reading Angel in the Water's in our Catholic Mosaic coop, and I'm interested in doing something with St. Gerard since his feast day is Oct. 16th. Any ideas?
