Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I love the Bible but have not seen the workbook. I ordered it from amazon and Im looking forward to its arrival.

I have found that the kids I teach in sunday school are not very literate compared to our protestant peers and I am desperate to make sure this fate doesnt befall my kids. The idea behind this set of the Bible and the workbook is that the bible is the living text and the workbook goes off that. The first portion is dedicated to Bible literacy and the rest to getting to really know the people of the Bible as REAL people.

Has anyone seen this or used it?

I thought this might be an affordable alternative bible study because the adventure one discussed in the other thread does not appeal to me. My kids do not color.

Sarah, I looked at this yesterday. I think it depends on what age you are working with and what kinds of kids they are...I think its a narrow audience that will like the workbook, if that makes any sense?
