Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Did you purchase yours or did you do the thrift store search for pieces that would fit? I am trying to decide what I want to do. I would LOVE to just purchase the kit but that will take some time to accumulate the money but the thought of looking at thrift stores with my two(and when I can find one since they aren't too abundant here!) is kind of daunting! I wonder if my time value is worth just purchasing the kit from Our Father's house? So what did you do?

Santa left it behind the tree last year for our family. We really love it, esp to use during FHC prep.

Katie -
I made a valiant effort to thrift some pieces for our Mass kit. It was frustrating and the pickin's were slim.

I ended up buying the kit, and I'm so, so glad I did. It saved me so much in time and I love the small, yet realistic and beautiful pieces.

I'd encourage saving for it if at all possible!!!

We sure got lots of use out of ours too. I gave ours away to a little nephew who told me he wanted to be a priest. I couldn't resist. Now I will have to by one for my five year old. It will probably be under the tree this year.

I purchased mine from Our Father's House when my oldest ds was in the 2nd grade. I found this a valuable tool when teaching FHC (and any other time you may want a review with the children).

I resisted for awhile too, but finally just bought it (from Our Father's House) and I'm so glad I did!
