Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does each child get to make their own notebook? I have the coloring book, and I'm wondering how to involve all the children in this. The little kids have been coloring their own pictures, and from the activities in Catholic Mosaic, some of them drew pictures of the crucifixion for the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. There's also the copywork. They've done some geography. Should they each label their own maps, and color their own flags? I gues I'd like to just have one notebook, but I don't know how to make it all work. I'm saving everything they've done since I can't pick what to keep in the notebook. Am I making any sense?

I have wondered this same thing. So far, I've placed everyone's copywork/artwork in an accordian file that has the months labeled. My thought was to fill a notebook with each "occasion's" worth of stuff. My next question is, what do we do next year? Same stuff, or another version?

We use a large binder and page protectors, divided as Cay describes in Mosaic. All our creations go in that binder...Mom's, ds 11's and dd 6's. I don't plan to do every activity, every year, so I'm not too concerned about the notebook being repetitive, although it would also be kind of neat to see the progression of each child's skills in coloring or labeling over the years if we did repeat some activities, KWIM?

Because of their wide age spread my kids don't always do the same activity, but we just go ahead and store it all in the same binder for simplicity's sake.

Hope this helps.

Ruth, I meant to get to this one yesterday and I missed it! We have yet to compile an actual Notebook as all my dc have their own liturgical/religion NBs going that they started when we began our homeschool journey. What I have done is similar to what dear Cay suggests for keeping the NB, but they just put their own work into their own binders. I really love the idea of a group binder and this just may be the year for it

We have also been compiling a Marian Scrapbook/Binder for our Mondays with Mary celebrations and Marian feasts throughout the year. I just need to get pics up on my blog. I dont' know if this was helpful or not, let us know what you end up doing!
Blessings!
