I am trying to put together an order to Rainbow Resource. Does anyone have any experience with "Your Story Hour?" I'm looking at the "Heritage of Our Country" 6 CD album in particular.

I have some of their tapes. They are typically patriotically American (Columbus is a hero, Pocahontas became a Christian, etc). They are conservative protestant and use the King James or New King James translations. The stories that we do have are much beloved by my kids. That said, I'd be careful. I have one daughter who wanted to sign up to do their Bible Quizzes where you earn free tapes, and I was not happy with the first quiz page, which told stories of "people who jailed other people for loving the bible." The word Catholic was never used, but it irritated me nonetheless. If you order, I'd suggest you listen to them first. Some of them are great. Some, not so great.
