Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have ideas for finding boxes to use for our continent boxes? The only boxes I've been able to find that are fairly reasonable are photo boxes - but I'd like them to be larger in depth and width but not so tall.

I've thought about using plastic bins, but my daughter would really like to have boxes to decorate.

I am looking too - Michaels only has colored photo boxes. I am looking for a bigger white box.

I have been using the scrapbooking paper boxes from Michaels, they are about $7.00 and $8.00, I can't remember exactly but they are 12x12 and 3 inches deep. They are plastic, and they have a few different colors. They are very sturdy and easy to decorate with stickers. I have taped a map of each continent with packing tape and it looks great.

Hope this helps,

I actually found my continent boxes at the baseball card shop. They have these white cardboard boxes with 5 rows. They are really nice and sturdy. I made a pocket for the top cover which is where I tucked in a folder for each continent with map worksheets and landmark pictures. Then in each row I put things like spices from the continent, artwork, pics of animals and bugs, examples of food items or pics, rocks/resources, and so on. They stack wonderfully and you can decorate them. My boys use the card shop a lot and so we got a deal on them...probably $5 each. They are on Amazon for $10.
