Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have the thread for this already going in Domestic Church, but for anyone studying the history, even geography of Australia, this should be a great resource.

Wow Annie! I have always hoped to find something for children that covered the history of Catholics in Aust. but had given up hope of finding anything.

Sometimes when you look at what seems to be a wealth of books that US homeschoolers have available on their own history it's hard not to feel sad that we seem to have so little. I do wonder how many of our history books have just been tossed out.

But I'm excited too for what I think will be one of the many fruits of homeschooling in Aust.; the writing of new books on Aust. history by homeschoolers. Well there already are some books, but to my knowledge nothing on our Catholic history.

As we do our Aust. history studies I realise just how little I know, and it's just so fascinating.

Thank you so much for sharing this resource, it is much appreciated .
