I need some living book ideas for my 14 yo ds. I have some weather fact books but looking for some living books with basic weather information. This will be part of his physical science course next year. I found some suggestion in this old post. Anyone have any others?

   Next year, we will be using Eric Sloane's Weather Book next year. You can look inside at the Amazon link I gave. I have already ordered copies for my boys (12/14-special needs) and I really like it. These boys are at about 6th-7th grade level, but it has enough technical detail to qualify as "high school" level, while also including practical information and interesting writing. We will also spend some time working on reading and understanding the Daily Weather Maps made available by NOAA.

   Our 14-yr old who has no special needs is going to do the Sonlight high school Biology course, so that is different for us this year, since we have been doing science all together until now. However, I want to be sure he has the traditional biology, chemistry, and physics course completed before graduation.
