Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our family has come all the way from here to preparing to enter the Catholic Church next Saturday at Easter Vigil. Already, my excitement and emotions are nearly unbearable!      How will I EVER make it through the Vigil without collapsing into a puddle of tears?!?    I would love your prayers for our protection this week and also that we would be focused on those things the Lord has for us. I won't be popping in here again until after Easter (gave you guys up for Lent) but I'll give an update then.

a blessed Holy Week to you all,
Martha

I don't know. It's so emotional.

Martha,

I'm so excited for you! As a convert of 7 years, I remember the excitement well! It's like the build-up to a wedding!

I will remember you in my prayers as you approach the Sacraments for the first time!

Big hugs to you and your family,
Dawn

You are in my prayers this week, Martha!

The puddle of tears is OK. God's presence is so wonderfully overwhelming!

I have so much admiration for converts to the Faith. To accept that grace is so huge!

I'm praying for you and your family, and all those coming into the Church on Easter.

I cry at all the sacraments and the Vigil is no exception. In our parish we have a father of 6 children coming in to be baptized. I cry every time I see him up there...and the others, too.

Martha,
I am also a convert to the Church. So many beautiful graces have been received over the years. I am so excited this year about the Vigil. I know that I will be a puddle of tears as well as I pray for you and all those entering the Church on this special evening. May your be showered with many blessings.

Tears of joy and lots of prayers for you and your family!

I didn't see many converts growing up, instead I saw people leaving the church, and it was very discouraging/confusing.

You don't know how much of a blessing and inspiration it is to see several of you here.

How exciting. We will pray for you and your family. We are welcoming 2 new Catholics into our church. When Father talked about it at the end of Liturgy yesterday I got tears in my eyes. What a beautiful time for all of you!!
