Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ten years ago this week, some ladies who had been chatting on a Catholic Charlotte Mason Yahoo group decided that a forum would make it easier to archive and share all the wonderful ideas they'd been discussing. Boy aren't we glad they did? What a wealth of knowledge and resources that have been collected and made available here over the years! Don't you ladies think this is cause to celebrate?

To kick off the party, why don't we all go and find some of our favorite threads to bump?

Since bumping has a way of inviting older members to come back for a visit, it would be great if we could include a "Happy 10th Anniversary 4Real" in the text, maybe a short note about why we love the thread, and a link back to this thread as a sort of shout out to those who may have moved on over the years but still treasure their time here.

We also have some fun ideas ruminating for celebrating in the individual forums including GIVE AWAYS as our gifts to you!

So don your party hats, grab your tea, and lets start bumping some threads, sharing some memories, and chatting it up about one of our favorite places on the web! Share the news with old friends since all are welcome to join in reminiscing over the treasure these boards have blessed us with over the years!

A special thank you to Tim and Janette for providing this space all these years ago and maintaining the space ever since. We owe you more than we can say!

Oh! And let's all link our bumped threads back in this thread so we can have a remembrance all here in one place.

Happy Anniversary! Sure wish I had found this board 10 years ago.

I bumped the Bird Migration thread. It's a bit early to be thinking about that, but I am looking forward to spring!

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!

I didn't quite make the very beginnings of this forum although I think I was on the email group a bit before that. Can't remember.

One of my favorite places to be! I look forward to reading through old threads and will bump something when we get back from our trip north to the West Coast Walk for Life. Our first one and we are so excited!

God bless you all!

I bumped High school science without a text book since it gave me confidence to teach high school science, especially for a child who dislikes text books.

I bumped Debt-Free College Degree. This was our goal when our older child hit high school. My #1 son has just finished college. He isn't quite debt-free, but he's very, very close. We're very proud of him, especially since he transferred to an out-of-state university and had to learn to deal with advisors and department heads there...deja vu all over again, after two years at community college. A couple of his community college classes did not count toward degree requirements, but, all in all, things worked out pretty well.

#2 child (daughter) saw the mentoring #1 son received at community college and realized how much money he saved (translation: finish at 4-year school of choice). She is planning to do the same thing. She has a completely different personality...this should be an interesting journey!

Well, it has been quite a well since I have posted anything, but I have been lurking here and praying for you all . I want to say THANK YOU to all of the ladies who started and who have maintained this forum so faithfully. It has been a huge blessing to me!

I hardly could pick which thread to bump from my long favorites list! But I decided on Resistant Narrators, because that addressed an area we have had to struggle with quite a lot with one of our sons.

Thank you, again!!!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I bumped up the thread on Accessorizing for Advent & Lit. Year.   As I said in the thread, I have created almost all of my Pinterest Boards from this thread. I just love looking at all the pretty rose, bee, pelican, lamb, etc. items to wear or decorate with.

I bumped 4Real Kids: Where Have They Gone?

It's inspiring to see what diverse and fascinating things our graduates have gone on to do.

Hello, dear ladies! Stef posted on FB about the anniversary, so here I am.   I do still check on the group, and pray for all the intentions, but I haven't posted anything in a million years.
I'll see if I can find a thread to bump, but I wanted to say here what a blessing this forum has been for me through the years.

Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years! I'm overwhelmed at the thought of posting my favorite thread. There have been so many that have helped me over these wonderful homeschooling years! This might take me a while! Happy Anniversary everyone!

Don't feel like you have to limit it to one, Becky
