Thanks, Elizabeth! I wasn't around last year when the ideas about devotions to the Holy Child were suggested, and I hope to incorporate that this year. You see, I couldn't figure out how to introduce my girls to the Filipino devotion to the Sto. Nino. In fact, I even got them a statue on our last trip home but that has stayed inside my closet for the 'perfect time.'

So thanks for the ideas, especially on consecrating the children to the Infant Jesus. I hope that this will start their devotion to the Sto. Nino, and (as an added bonus) help them feel connected to their Filipino Catholic heritage.

What a blessing this forum has been to us!
