Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thanks for clarifying that, Jen.

The St. Joseph Baltimore Catechism is what I like to use.

Also- had a heart attack when I looked on Amazon and saw the price of the plain Baltimore Catechism

Which one did you see? The ones I saw/have were about the same, and I have the regular old 1891 Baltimore Catechism, all four, printed from here

I just typed in BC 2 on Amazon and came up with a $20 base price:
Baltimore Cathechism 2

I was expecting to see another nice little paperback, so this threw me for a loop for a minute

We used the St. Joseph First Communion Catechism this year. Which one would we move on to for 3rd grade next year? I look on Amazon for no. 1 but couldn't find anything.

Lindsey,
I'm sorry I didn't see your question until now! I'm probably late with a suggestion, but I thought I'd answer anyway....

You could easily move into Baltimore Catechism #1 for the next year. We spend 2 - 3 years in this catechism, so please do consider that you can spend a few years with just this one book before you'd move on to Baltimore Catechism #2.

Thanks, Jen! I already ordered it and after looking at it figured it would definitely take a while to get through it.

I really appreciate your help!

In light of Nuemann Press closing I've just spent time tracking down books in Abe Books, I'm looking at the original versions (didn't see the Nueumann Press reprints. So thanks soo much for the lists here.
