Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Maddie -

When you have the fruit pulp left over from juicing for jelly, can you use that to make fruit butter?

Peace,
Nancy

Dh makes the jams in our family, we have strawberry and raspberry is June, we have blackcurrent jelly in September and marmalade in January. The children and I pick the fruit (well not the oranges!) I wash and sterilize the jars, dh makes the jam and I clear up afterwards, it works very well for us. We always have some that don't work so well and some that are a triumph. They taste so much nicer than shop bought too. Good luck with your jam making.
