Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been trying to work with my children, giving them a little prayerful morsel to think about during the day or at Rosary time to encourage them to practice mental prayer. I'm putting this series of posts at my blog. They are called Saintly Supplements -- Mary Vitamin for children. (The Mary Vitamin link is in my signature)

First Saintly Supplement

Second

Third

I have a bunch put together already which I will be posting for the next few ?days or ?weeks. (not sure) So feel free to stop by my blog if this interests you. You'll be able to find them in the category Saintly Supplements.

I'm beginning with Our Lady's apparition at Fatima as the point of meditation for the children. Good topic for Mary's Month of May!

AussieAnnie has been working with me (she came up with the name!) and has meditations as well and will be posting at her blog soon. (Her blog is Under Her STarry Mantle)

I'm so grateful to you two ladies. This is an answer to prayer. I've been trying so hard to foster a private prayer time with my dc.

I appreciate your help!

I'm hoping that you will help me to continue teaching   my children to pray. It's hard to persevere.

For Friday's feast of the Sacred Heart and for the month of June, I am trying to present some prayer ideas to my children based on the apparitions of the Lord to St. Margaret Mary.

Lord Willing, I'll continue with my children and blog about it.

Here's the first one

The Lord promised He would establish peace in the families who honored His heart. Isn't that a wonderful promise?
