Thanks to Kathryn's wonderfully creative kindness, she has given the blogosphere a set of Montessori-style Stations of the Cross cards for easy download. You can either use them Montessori-ish as 3-part cards or you can just use them to practice teaching your kids the stations ....

Thanks Mary! I've already printed them out.
Do you know where I can find some larger pictures - 5 X 7 or 8 X 10?

Waverly,
You also might try googling (click on "images") for "stations of the cross" images and then saving the inidividual images to your computer and printing them to the size you want ... just another option

Leaflet Missal also sells them.
Now, I can ask if anyone who DOESN'T have a color printer...do you know of a place that I can send or bring a file to print? Kinkos? Would Staples do that? Have you had success?

Jenn, I do this all the time, and I have a color printer. There are times when I want some things, like these cards to look extra special, glossy paper/cardstock, laser printer.
You can do this at Kinkos, Staples or Office Depot. You can upload the files to them online and pick up the print job at the location when its done. You can even pick the quality and weight of the paper. I've used all of them, they all work a little differently, but not too hard.
Otherwise, you can burn the files onto a cd or one of those flash thumb drives and walk them into the copy center and tell them what you want.
I've been very pleased. For the few things I do this for and how nice they look, it really doesn't cost that much in the end.

These are wonderful! Thank you Kathryn for making them available and Mary for pointing them out to us!
We still use my old Stations of the Cross boxes each Lent for the younger girls. I'm printing off a few sets of these cards to laminate and place in their boxes. They are a perfect addition!

Irene, we just finished putting ours together. Ds just loved it, and practically has the Stations order memorized just from today. Thanks again for the fabulous, fabulous idea. For those not familiar, see Stations of the Cross box
I plan on adding the cards, too.
Now ds wants to make a Rosary box. I think that's a great idea.

How funny, Jenn! You were writing while I was going back to edit my post to add the link.

Great help, thanks! Of course, now I'm trying to do it for Staples and having a time getting the website to cooperate.

That is exactly why I made them . I just put together a Stations box for my little one and wanted pictures to add.
Thank you for sharing your idea

I know a lot of members don't track all the threads so in case anyone is interested, in the Cultivating Color and Beauty forum there is an art appreciation study following the stations of the cross over 14 days.
