Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

That's it - we're all filled up!

Today is not just Halloween, it's my oldest ds' birthday so I will be busy, busy, busy today! I will send out an PM to everyone, probably tomorrow, with the final details.

Thank you everyone! I'm really excited about this!!! (can you tell by all my exclamation points?)

I concur with Mary and Molly--you are a born organizer! Thank you so much!! I'll be going to the craft store this week-end and this week we will be making many, many scrolls!

Is it too late to sign up? I wanted to do a craft swap the moment I read the article in Faith and Family but knew I could not organize one for my parish so soon. Would love to join. I'm not too particular so long as it is easy enough for a mom to work on with a VERY eager 5 year old who loves to paint.

A few that come to mind would be

heart
star
Mary

I hope I can still take part. Many thanks for putting this together.

Somehow I read all about the details but not that you got filled up. Bummer! Was there enough on your waiting list to have a second group? Can you please put me on your waiting list?

Many Thanks!

If a second group is formed, I would be interested as well. Thanks.

Right now there are 7 of you waiting to form a 2nd group. Elizabeth (domchurch3) PM'd me about the feasibility of a 2nd group at this late date.

The difficulties would include getting 21 other people to sign up rather quickly, shipping time, time for the organizer to get everything sorted, packaged and out, and the time each person would need to shop for and create their ornaments.

The main thing in your favor would be that the ornaments are small and simple. I finished mine in about 3 days, working only for an hour or so each night.

I can't do more than give advice for the 2nd group. We're going on a cruise, leaving November 30th, and it'll be all I can do to pull off the original swap, Thanksgiving, some Christmas prep and getting all 5 of us packed and out of here on time!

I'll be running a second group of Jesse Swappers. If anyone is interested look for my new thread in this forum called Jesse Tree Swap Group 2. Also, you can PM me with your choices or email me at fernfam@gmail.com.

Thank You,

Elizabeth

Ours are ready to go in the mail!   The craft-challenged Vozzo's really enjoyed making them! They were made with a lot of love! The kids were so excited to be helping. This is our first year doing a Jesse tree, and the kids can't wait to receive the others.

Thanks again, Lorri, for putting this all together!

Yes, thank you Lorri for doing this for all of us! This is also our first year of doing the Jesse Tree and we look forward to putting ornaments on the tree each day.

I got the first package in the mail yesterday! I couldn't bring myself to tell the mailman that there would be 26 others! LOL!
