Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I keep hearing about Bravewriter and the Writer's Jungle, and I'm wondering if it's worth the money. My dd will be 8 in a few months, and I've thought about trying out an issue of The Arrow over the summer to see if we like it.

Can you tell me more about The Writer's Jungle? I hesitate to spend so much money on something that I don't know too much about.

Thanks!

Emily,

Have you been to the website and tried a few of her ideas? All of those things are in TWJ and it gives you a feel for the program. ALso, she has an e-list that sends daily reminders of things to do. You might try all of that before purchasing and then if you like it, see if you can find one used. Have you seen the sample Arrow issue?

Thanks! Those threads are very helpful.

I have looked at the sample, but I couldn't really use it, since it's a "boy" book.    I knew dd wouldn't want to do that one. But I like the look of it, and think it would be something we could use.

I'll go back to the website and read some more.

Emily,

That is the problem I have with my dd! She only likes books that have girls as the main characters. *Sigh*

I just bought_My Side Of The Mountain_ for $1.00! I couldn't resist!
