Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies, Susan has done a lot of work in putting this list together!      Thank you, Susan!

As she says, if you want to be added or removed, please PM her OR you can post a reply here and we will add you to the list. This new sticky list will serve in place of our "Attention Bloggers" sticky, which got kind of long and full of great conversation as well as blognames.

Once again, thank you Susan!

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words. I am only too happy to contribute to a group of women who have helped me so much these past years...

Jenn, I tried to PM you but your inbox is full. But, I think I'll answer your questions here, if I may.

The original list was gleaned from posts made on the "Attention Bloggers" thread - and it has already grown since then! I'm sure there are still blogs missing from this list so I do appreciate people letting me know about them.

Jenn also suggested adding some info about each blog next to it's listing on the list. It's a good idea although I'm going to have to depend on blog owners to supply me with the info as it's a pretty big job. So, here's my suggestion. Next to each title, I'll list the name of the blog owner (forum names are fine) and some "tags" with word descriptions for what their blog is about. I'll give mine as an example:

  • Our Lady of Providence
    - author: Susan (Taffy)
    - tags: homeschooling, Charlotte Mason, Real Learning, autism, learning logs, RDI (Relationship Development Intervention)

  • If you like the idea, let me know! And supply me with data too, please.

I like it. Would you prefer PMs so we don't clutter this thread, or start a new thread?

Probably PMs would be best for now. Thanks.

Can I throw in my suggestion?

Go ahead and clutter this thread, and then I'll delete posts after Susan adds them to the list. Is that okay?

LOL Susan and I posted at the same time!      Forget what I said. :)

Susan, if anyone does post here, I will delete after you add. I am going to delete some of the posts in this thread (Lisa's and Jordan's) since you've added them to the list. I hope that this is okay with everyone! And if you need any help, PM me.

For those of you who can use an OPML file to upload (Typepad users can do this), email me and I can supply one for you. I just spent the past 45 minutes updating the blogroll (added the new ones too). Also, if you see that you are not on it or that the link is wrong, please let me know.

Also, on the list above, Simple Gifts had the wrong link in it. It should be: Simple Gifts.

Hi everyone, just a quick note to let you know that there have been several updates to this list.

I've been thinking about the best way for those with the list in their blog rolls to keep it updated as I generally add between 3 and 5 a week still. Does anyone want to input this list onto the Blog Ring? I'll be happy to help but I'm not sure that I can take it on by myself as I'm on dial up so if adding each site is a multi-step process it could be pretty time consuming...

Another idea I had is to design a button that links to the list here. That way, the list is always updated for everyone. Can someone volunteer to design such a button? I have very limited capabilities in doing such a task.

Is this something to be concerned about? Ideas and opinions are welcome!

KC, could you PM me the OPML file please? I've tried adding people to my blogroll, but the list keeps on growing, it's so hard to keep up!!! (not to mention the actual reading of the blogs themselves    )

Thank you! And thank you, Susan, for putting this together!

    Susan:

I haven't been able to find a way to input the blogroll list into our webring.

Each blog has to enroll individually in our webring.

If everyone not in the ring wants to join, it is very easy to do, and I do monitor it daily so it would be updated quickly.

I was in the webring, and somehow got deleted. How do I get back into it?
