Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What an odd post title, I know.

I want to blog again-it really is a great way to document what we are doing/learning here at home. But I saw it as too much of a time waster when I wouldn't have a finished product like a scrapbook or written journal.

Enter Blog Slurper.

It looks great-does anyone have any experience with it??
Thanks!
Jennifer

Be careful if you go to the Recently Published book page. Some inappropriate material, there!

Jennifer, I don't have any first-hand experience, but I am interested in finding out more about it. I'm very anxious to back up my blog.

I saw a post about it at Soule Mama's - you can get a look at what the final product looks like.

Thank you!!

I downloaded the Book Smart software from Blurb last night-I still need to play around with it but I think it will "Slurp" your blog on a regular basis so content is saved.

No need to upload a year's worth of posts in one sitting! I'm not going to do any editing on the Blog Book until I'm ready to have it printed. That's the next question-how often to have it printed out? I'm thinking once a year at a minimum. And would I need to order more than one copy?? So many things to think about!

Jennifer,

This does look cool -- I wonder how the doc is saved; can you just save it to disk/cd for long-term storage or do they have to publish it...

Looks like I'll stay up tonight playing with it....
