Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Molly, I fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. She reminds me of some of my grade school teachers!

Isn't she the best kept secret on the web? I love her, whoever she really is!

Good stuff. But is she really a nun?? Some of her entries in comments are rather racy...

Wondered that, too. She's a great character, but she does seem like a character and not a real person.

Oh Mercy, maybe I should have checked it over more, I did not see anything racy. I am sorry if it is scandalous....I just read some and died laughing....please forgive me if it is not what I presented....after all I am a non reliable source of information

No harm intended!!!!

Don't worry Molly -- nothing scandalous! Just the odd reply to comments which was a bit more tongue in cheek and worldly than one would expect from a nun.

Anyway, it's a great read with some really good, solid, and funny entries!

eg:

"One reader is considering giving up her 'me' time for Lent. I didn't realize Catholics had any 'me' time that didn't involve prayer and/or fasting. Live and learn. I guess Jesus had some 'me' time out in the desert, but Satan showed up and ruined it. Right during His bubble bath."

Great stuff.

Mother Angelica used to say some pretty off the wall things too. That is who this person reminds me of.

I check her blog every day for new posts. I love her stories about Sr. Fiacre and their grocery trips.
She is hilarious. I even find myself borrowing some of her sayings... For example, when my 22 year old dd calls and complains about school or life in general......I just tell her...........at least you are not on fire!!
