We aren't going to be home at all on the 1st, but I am going to let the girls take their coloring pages with them and work on them in the car. There will be no time to stop and "smell the roses", but I would love to hear all about the wonderful ideas you ladies have for celebrating this Heavenly Rose!

We are making some sacrifice beads and some tissue paper flowers.
I found the litany on EWTN's site as well.
A question.
I have left over beads and the plastic laces they go on from cub scouts. They are black laces and the beads are solid colors- orange, white and black. Im not thrilled with the lack of beauty there but its not irreverant, is it?
Im a big fan of using what we have.

We will be reading about St. Therese from the Treasure box books.

I forgot about those little stories, maybe I will pack up a little St. Therese bag for the car!

Personal opinion: I don't think so. When my older two were little, they used orange and red yarn and wooden beads. It's what we had, and they did it all on their own without prompting. They loved the beads and used them a lot for a while.

Charlotte,
I just want to let you know how much we appreciate all your beautiful coloring pages! We've used several of them in the past few weeks. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with the rest of us.
Blessings,

I would also like to say thank you for the coloring pages. I was at one of my favorite stores, The Leaflet Missal, and they have tons of coloring books for kids. I started looking through them and I did not buy one because I did not like the coloring pages as much as I like your coloring pages. I like the fact that your coloring pages do not have text. I like the fact that the expressions on the faces of your drawings are so alive. I like the fact that I can see the picture you used as a model. I like the fact that the pages are not busy - but allow the kids to color in detail.
Thank you for sharing and, as a result, blessing each of us and our children with your gift.

Thanks so much for the coloring pages! My 4yo Therese loved coloring them while I finished our feast dinner, which included a rose water pound cake.
