Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey Families,

This coming Sunday, a dear priest is going to come over to bless our new home and enthrone it to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

He asked me to hunt down the Rite as he doesn't have it.

Can anyone help?

Pretty please with sugar on top???

Thank you in advance!

Well, the order Oblate Apostles of the Two Hearts does enthronements for lots of families. Apparently, they do not have a webpage, but they can be emailed at OATHUSA@aol. com or you can phone them at (302)697-6544.

The National Enthronement Center in Fairhaven, MA, is the best place to get information on the enthronement. I know it's too late for Sunday, but this is the website, with all the catalog offerings. You might order the certificate for Father to fill in later.

I dislike linking to this site for these reasons, but I don't have time to scan my copy of the enthronement. This one most closely matches my version of enthronement with a priest from Enthronement of the Sacred Heart by Father Francis Larkin: http://www.fisheaters.com/enthronement.doc

More info can be found here: http://www.fisheaters.com/sh.html

This is the ceremony without a priest.

It doesn't include the Immaculate Heart per se, as consecration. I do have a small ceremony that seems to be separate, that I can type up really fast (it's much shorter) if you need it.

I did want to add the daily renewal prayer, which our family did after the rosary every night. I love this prayer.

===============================

Your Family Covenant is a pledge of communion with God. Prayer is the language of this communion. "The Church is a praying community. What matters for Her is prayer" (Pope Paul VI).

To keep Jesus in your home, pray together. (Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst" (Mt. 18:20). To stay together, pray together!

The best time to renew your covenant might be before or after the evening meal. The following prayer is suggested or you may wish to compose your own. The important thing is to pray, as a family.

Quote:
DAILY RENEWAL OF OUR PLEDGE OF LOVE AND
LOYALTY TO JESUS, OUR KING, PROVIDER
AND FRIEND

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, we renew our pledge of love and loyalty to You. Keep us always close to Your loving Heart and to the most pure Heart of Your Mother.

May we love one another more and more each day, forgiving each other's faults as You forgive us our sins. Teach us to see You in the members of our family and those we meet outside our home, and to love them as You love them, especially the poor and the oppressed, that we may be instrumental in bringing about justice and peace.

Please help us to carry our cross daily out of love for You, and to strengthen this love by frequent Mass and Communion.

Thank You, dear Jesus, King and Friend of our family, for all the blessings of this day. Protect us and all families during this night. Help us so to live that we may all get to Heaven.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

St. Joseph, pray for us!

Our Guardian Angels, pray for us!

Parental Blessing (optional).

Oh, you can preview Catholic for a Reason IV and if you search on enthronment, the whole chapter on family enthronement can be viewed.
