My dd5 has been requesting me to post a chart of table manners for a while. She is rather keen on etiquette

Anyhow I've been having trouble finding a printable chart, I finally found this list although I've made a couple of adjustments. Australians eat in the continental style so our knives are always in use.

Oh and I also found a fascinating good manners chart which covered far more than just table manners.
The 'Good Manners' chart was first issued to Queensland schools in 1898 by the Department of Public Instruction as part of the systematic teaching of conduct and manners. The chart was based on rules formulated by the Children's National Guild of Courtesy which had been founded in UK elementary schools in 1889.

Has anyone other charts that they'd like to share? Perhaps I could combine a few.

I've added more to the original chart and share here. Can you think of anything else I should add? Please feel free to add more

      Wash your hands and face before sitting down.

      Come to the table when called.

      No books at the table.

      When you sit down, place the napkin in your lap.

      Sit up straight and don't slouch.

      Ask politely for dishes to be passed. Never reach across the table.

      Wait until everyone is seated and served before beginning Grace.

       Wait until Grace is said before beginning eating. Do not interrupt during Grace.

      Keep your elbows off table.

      Never chew with your mouth open.

      Never talk with a mouth full of food.

      Use utensils quietly without banging them on the table or plate.

      Use a bread and butter plate for your bread.

      Never wave or throw utensils.

      Keep your knife out of your mouth.

      Never play with your food.

      Never grab food from other people's plates.

      Ask politely for seconds if you want them.

      Ask to be excused from the table before you leave.

     Thank your hostess for the meal, thank all for their company.

      Clear your plate from the table and take it into the kitchen.

Don't laugh.

These are some of our daily reminders for manners at table. Now, for breakfast and lunch we allow reading, but dinner would be "no books". I put some in parentheses that would be "of course, this is obvious" but they are works in progress here.

No singing or humming at the table.

Don't interrupt conversations; wait your turn to talk.

Use your fork, not your fingers.

(Wipe your hands on your napkin, not your shirt or pants, tablecloth, or chair cushion.)

(Do not put hands in your drink.)

Sit still and on your bottom.

Keep all four legs of the chair on the floor at all times.

Does your daughter want illustrations, or just a list of rules? Too many and the head spins...I would consolidate a few, at least with my sons. I mean, we really just would like basic civility at times before we even approach true etiquette.
