I've got an official Kindergartener this year. Unlike his brother, he loves to color, so I have many coloring pages for him. Many are related to the day, like liturgical coloring pages.
My problem is organizing them so that he can use them with ease. I originally was using a plastic folder with various compartments, but it got so full it thwarted his coloring.
I can't micromanage the pages, either, because I know by November it will all be behind.
So I'm just wondering how other people do it? I want a place where he can get the pages for the day, and a place to put them when they are done. Something easy for me to set up monthly.
Help?

What's working nicely for us this year?
** My 1st and 4th grader really, really enjoy and look forward to our Liturgical Calendar Coloring Book time. (I'm pretty sure that Jenn Miller mentioned using this at one time.) The author of the coloring book wrote me and introduced me to her work and allowed me a sample month to consider and my kids really enjoyed this new part of our day! We usually read about the saint of the day from some other books that we love (that Jenn Miller also recommended here I think) - Joan Windham's set of 3 Story Library of the Saints. I Proclick bind two monthly sets of coloring pages and the kids have their very own liturgical year coloring books. It's a huge hit! And the highlight of their days! We enjoy reading further about the saints if our Joan Windham story doesn't explain to us why Ms. MacArthur chose to picture the saint with a particular symbol. |

I don't know why I just didn't think of the binding system for this. I quickly compiled June, July, and August (we were behind) to take to the beach. My youngest (5 1/2) just loved the book, but so did my oldest (10), and requested one, also. I know for my older he wants to learn more about the saints -- coloring isn't that important. For my younger the discussions are priceless, and he just loves to color them.
Off to print September now!

I bought this last week, but it is after noon on the 1st and I still haven't received my file? When do you usually get the current month's e-mail?

Usually by the end of the day on the 1st, although there have been two months that I got on the 2nd and 3rd. July she had to split into two files because she just had a connection that couldn't send the bigger file.
As she is still drawing them, I understand sometimes the delay. It's minimal, though.

Thanks! I didn't want to pester if it was normal but was afraid there was a technical error or something where I didn't get it.
