In the prayer corner I posted about a young mother named Jessica needing prayers.

She has been through so much but is so strong and very pro-life. She is 7 months pregnant and discovered last week that she has a condition known as Anti-E. Her mother visited me this morning and was telling me that there is very little on the Internet about this condition and even her pro-life doctor was unfamiliar with it. It can only be detected through blood work and is similiar to Rh Disease. Basically something in the mother's blood senses the baby is a foreign object and attacks it. The mother usually has to have a blood transfusion (which once started continues each week until delivery), early delivery of child, or a stillborn birth.

Jessica originally went to the doctor complaining about Thyroid issues. An ultrasound on her tyroid revealed that something was not right. It turned out not to be her thyroid but this Anti-E. I'm not sure what causes it or if it goes away after the birth or if it's even related to the thyroid or not.

Needless to say, she has had a lot to content with this year and the family could use many prayers.

If anyone knows about this Anti-E and has information I could pass on to jess, please let me know. Thank you!
